It’s actually a package deal see…you buy yourself a new mattress at Sleep Country, you get yourself a five year subscription to Furniture World Magazine, and you are guaranteed five years of falling asleep easily.

Matrtess sales are on on par with car dealers. . .what a grind

Everyone should log on to Trader Joe’s website and beg/grovel for a
location at the Landing. . .

So any other announcements of stores for this developement or has
Westerfield succeeded behind the scenes ????

And does anyone know what is to become of the former Sound Ford site??? Maybe the city can rent short term to hold Clawson lawsuit
    paperwork.

      I’ve groveled for a Trader Joe’s.

      In the mean time….

We are lucky to have three really nice grocery/food stores in Renton – Thrifty, GreenFresh and Minklers.

We also have some really neat halal grocery stores – the one near Tommy’s, next to the old Mayors reelection HQ is really nice and the people are sweet.

Don’t forget the Mexican places where you can get the good Coke with sugar and not corn syrup.

I would really like to see a Trader Joe’s as well. It’s a good idea to send your desires to their corporate headquarters, as I understand the owners of the Landing and Trader Joes have had some dialogue about this. I think Traders Joes does not predict the market being quite right, so maybe it is up to all of us to show them that it is!

There’s a rumor that Kent is in the running for a TJ’s! Can’t let those “south-enders” get our TJ’s.

(No matter where you are, there’s always someone to the south of you that you can make fun of)

          😉

        To add to my post….

It’s not quite in Renton as far as I know, but don’t forget the 99 Market in the Great Wall. You can get fresh fish from a tank, cleaned and fried up they way you like it. You may have to point – not everybody speaks english, but the other customers point as well, as there’s a lot of languages spoken there.

        Cheap veggies of all verities!
