Hi, I’m Randy Corman. Welcome to my blog! I served on Renton City Council for 28 years, 1994-2021, with six years as Renton Council President. I’m also a mechanical engineer and manager, and worked for the Boeing Company for 33 years, from 1984- 2017. My wife and I have five kids and six grandkids, and we all live in Renton. Pretty Cool, Huh?
Last week my lovely wife and I watched a new jet takeoff from the airport as we were going into Greenfresh Market (please, please, shop there! It’s the best thing we have in Renton). And as we watched the jet lift into the air, a passerby asked “What’s so special about that?”
We then explained that each day a new jet gets finished and goes to be painted and delivered and that every single 737 in the air came from Renton. She thought that was the coolest thing ever!!

Greenfresh is awesome! You can get China Cola there – it’s real Cola (with Kola nut extract) but it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.
The selection is great, and when you consider your health – places like Greenfresh are a bargain. Cheep food comes at a horrible price – your long term health.

I love shopping at Greenfresh!! Great selection and nice people. And each time I hear one of the Boeing jets take off to go get painted, I applaud. Now that’s an airport noise worth hearing! Boeing is a great neighbor and is providing great family wage jobs.
