Renton fans of the Seattle Seahawks use green and blue Solo cups to help show their support at the Exit 6 overpass in Kennydale, a mile from the team’s Renton headquarters.
This afternoon at 3:30 the Seahawks are playing the New England Patriots in Santa Clara, California in Super Bowl LX. The game is broadcast free on NBC, and is likely to be the most watched Super Bowl in television history. The Super Bowl is widely considered the premier US sporting event of the year.
Our Seahawks have had an amazing season, and are favored to win! Go Hawks!!!

Ball games! Yay!
Oh, you are one of those people who says football is just men chasing a ball. When the Seattle Seahawks play, families sit in the same room and actually watch something together instead of staring at separate screens. It gives people a shared moment, something simple they all understand at the same time. For a lot of people it is one of the few things left that still makes a community feel like a community.
