| My wife and I won our own Eminent Domain battle against the City of Renton in 1989, when we were 26 years old. The experience taught us what it is like to be on the citizen side of an illegal eminent domain action. The City of Renton needs to be extremely judicious in it's use of Eminent Domain Power. It should never be used without widespread citizen support, or for inherently non-public purposes. |
