Randy's Awards

Council President (view award)
Randy was Council president and Mayor Pro-Tem in 2000. It was a strong year financially. Randy presided over the council's filling of two council vacancies that year (Bob Edward's election to Port Commission and Tim Schlitzer's resignation.)

FAA DER (view award)
As an FAA DER, Randy has earned special public responsibility in approving airplane designs.

Bachelor of Science Degree (view award)
Randy earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 1984.

FAA Award Plaque (view award)
FAA gave Randy an award for performing key pioneering work on the Boeing-FAA partnership for safety plan, which further enhances the safety of airplanes.

Engineer's Week Award (view award)
Randy was recognized as the outstanding Science and Mathematics student in his 500 person graduating class by the National Engineers Week Committee.

US Patent Award (view award)
Randy was recognized as an outstanding Boeing inventor for his U.S. Patent covering Avionics Cooling System Design.
