Ah, they may not be. But they are more knowledgable and they are telling their friends! Pay attention Keolker campaign. You haven’t understood the most fundamental of marketing concepts. Changing your brand mid-way through? Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
I think anytime anyone would take the time to enlighten the public about what goes on behind closed doors is a rarity. I only wished you had the fortitude to print what you knew about the Mayor and Dan long before now. Some would say this is the way most city councils are, but I’m getting the impression that this council was in trouble way back when the Mayor took office.
When I read the article in the reporter about the lawsuit, I kept saying to myself why doesn’t the Mayor just get the parties in her chambers and resolve this. Jay mentioned he might try. If the Mayor had any smarts she should have never let this happen. If I had any doubts before, they are gone now. The Mayor was looking to leave a legacy behind and I don’t believe this is what she had in mind. Maybe she should receive a plaque for worst Mayor of the City of Renton.

Randy,
I greatly appreciate your service to our community. I know you have been very busy. I have heard some rumors that some folks are concerned about lawsuits. I don’t like lawsuits. I would prefer to explore common goals and an approach to problem solving that will work for everyone.
I understand your inability to get back to me, but I hope you will continue to encourage Mayor Keolker to stick to her oath of office to follow the federal and state constitutions and state laws.
I ask you for counsel. No one will talk to me about my concerns, and Fire Chief Daniels cancelled a meeting that he requested. I hope you will encourage Mayor Keolker to adhere to a course of action consistent with what the citizens of the Greater Renton Community expect of us.
Sincerely,
Integrity
